Spanish Street 2

A painting done of a scene in spain, using a picture my father took for reference.

Simple done in watercolor on paper, using masking tape to leave out necessary highlights where possible. Thanks for looking.

Self portraits.

For a while now I've been trying my hand at self portraits, only to find that I hate them and end up either throwing them in the bin or painting over them. Anyway here are two that didnt end up painted over, the below view done in acrylic on a large scale (for me), and the small one done in oil.

Uncle

Watercolor of my fathers brother done in the same medium as David, and the same size. I found it difficult to subtly highlight his features under the shadow of his large cowboy style hat, but overall I am quite pleased with the piece.

David

This is a painting of my art tutor who has been mentoring me for two years at college. Thought I would do this painting as a gift to him to say thanks for the help and inspiration.

Approx 20x30 inches. Watercolor on paper.
